Why is it, then, that almost everyone we meet is paying significantly more tax – in various forms – than they legally need to?
Perhaps it’s because many accountants are somewhat ‘grey’ in their approach, choosing simply to process given numbers rather than to examine what’s possible. The fact that most people, accountants included, don’t know what’s available or legal is probably also a root cause of this problem.
Working with you
Approach and geography
Tax avoidance, not evasion
Phoenix take a very different view. Working with business owners, private individuals and landlords we approach accountancy from different angles. We begin by examining your current situation. We progress through evaluating and explaining your tax-saving options. Then we help you make them happen, reviewing your ongoing opportunities to mitigate your tax liabilities year-on-year.
We like to visit new clients on their own territory at first. It’s amazing what clues we can pick up about simple tax-saving ideas, for example if there’s a van or low-emission car on the drive or a PC in the dining room.
Geographically we work predominantly with clients within a 100-mile radius of Bristol – although we have clients across the globe.
If you’re looking for creative, tax-saving accountants with the energy and interest to help you avoid unnecessary taxes get in touch. An initial chat costs you nothing but, we believe, could lead to saving you a fortune.
The Phoenix experience is quite unlike the service we’d received from our previous accountants, who were twice as expensive yet showed no interest at all in tax planning. Nick has shown us a significant reduction in our tax bills and all within Revenue rules.
